The Everyday Words Advent Calendar

Forget those dull chocolate, gin, beer, beauty advent calendars. Wouldn’t it be cool to have the link to a published poem, or a short story, a personal essay, or even a beautiful paragraph selected by me and sent to your inbox - together with a writing prompt - every day from 1st to 24th December?

That’s what I’ve been planning, and better still, all the money will go directly to charity. I’ve picked DAVSS, the Domestic Abuse Volunteer Support Service which works with both men and women in Kent. Just email me on sarah@sarahsalway.co.uk with the email you’d like the secret daily emails sent to and let me know you’ve paid the £15 per calendar (which you can do using this link. )

Then from 1st December, you’ll get the chance to discover brilliant new writers and to get reintroduced to old favourites. The idea is to give yourself a little moment of reflection every morning as we move through December AND you’ll be helping other people. Better still, because these are emails you get to keep, you can read and write at your own pace - even into 2022.

And there’s no peeking even if you wanted to! You won’t get more than one a day!

I’ve been picking some of my very favourite texts to share with you. I hope you’ll join me for some December nourishment.

(Please note that all emails will be kept confidential and not shared with anyone. This is just a nice thing to do for December and for DAVVS.)
