Sharing the poems that make life better

I’ll be chairing a panel on Sunday 22nd August as part of the Tunbridge Wells Poetry Festival on the poems that make our life better.

Not just the ones that let in a bit of sunshine, but also the ones that make us laugh, the ones that help us vent, and the ones that sit with us when we need a friend and it’s 4am and we can’t ring anyone until it’s properly morning. (And don’t we all want that sometimes?)

I’m so happy that Victoria Field and Jon Sayers are joining me. We’ve had some great discussions already, and I know it’s going to be a nourishing event.

If you’re in the Kent area, do come and join us! It’s free and all the details are here.
